Microneedling

Stimulates collagen to help improve texture, pores, and the appearance of fine lines over time.

Texture Refinement & Collagen Support

Enhance your skin’s texture and tone with microneedling, a treatment that stimulates collagen production by creating tiny punctures in the skin. Ideal for reducing scars, wrinkles, and large pores.

Common uses
PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma) can be combined with micro-needling for enhanced results.

Procedure details
Mild redness for 1-2 days post-treatment.

Microneedling creates thousands of controlled micro-injuries in the skin with very fine needles. Each one triggers the body’s natural repair response, and that response lays down new collagen and elastin — which is what improves texture over the following months.

It is one of the few treatments that genuinely improves acne scarring, and it works on the underlying structure rather than resurfacing the top. Because it does not rely on heat or pigment-targeting light, it is safe across all skin tones.

What it treats

Acne scarring, enlarged pores, fine lines, uneven texture and overall skin laxity. It is often combined with PRP — your own platelet concentrate applied into the freshly created channels, which both amplifies the collagen response and speeds recovery.

Expect redness resembling mild sunburn for twenty-four to forty-eight hours. A course of three to six sessions spaced four weeks apart is typical, with collagen remodelling continuing for up to six months after the final session.

Common Questions

Does microneedling help acne scars?

It is one of the more effective treatments for rolling and boxcar acne scarring, because it rebuilds collagen in the depressed tissue. Ice-pick scars generally need a different approach. A course of several sessions is required.

How many sessions do I need?

Three to six sessions spaced about four weeks apart, depending on what is being treated. Scarring needs more sessions than general texture and pore refinement.

What is the recovery like?

Redness similar to mild sunburn for twenty-four to forty-eight hours, sometimes with light flaking a few days later. Makeup can usually be worn again after twenty-four hours.

Is microneedling with PRP better?

Adding PRP introduces your own growth factors into the micro-channels, which strengthens the collagen response and shortens recovery. It costs more, and whether it is worthwhile depends on what you are treating.

Is microneedling safe for all skin tones?

Yes. Because it works mechanically rather than with heat or light targeting pigment, it carries a lower risk of pigmentation change than many resurfacing treatments.
